Our work is secret, but the reason for our success isn't. It's our people. And we're just like you. We're ordinary people. But together, we're doing extraordinary things to protect New Zealand and New Zealanders.

While we're ordinary people, we're not all the same. We welcome diversity, in all its forms, in fact we consider it a strength.
Join us and become part of a Community where your skills, experiences and ideas are valued and you're encouraged to be curious, to share your ideas and of course, have fun along the way.
If you're up for the challenge, become Beyond Ordinary with us.
Information and cyber security is one of the fastest growing areas of focus in both the private and public sector.
Government has made additional investment in information and cyber security, and we're growing our team to respond.
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is an integral part of the GCSB, contributing to the national security of New Zealand. We provide technical advice and assistance to Government and organisations with significant national information infrastructures to enable them to protect their information from advanced technology-borne threats.
We look for enthusiastic and driven people with a broad range of skills and experiences. You will be innovative and inquisitive with a focus on delivering high quality outcomes to support our Cyber Security mission.
We need people who want to develop their skills and experience in IT service delivery and have the drive to identify ways to improve our services.
Common sense is key here, you will be the first point of contact for internal user requests and will need to be confident in identifying what you can solve and what needs to be escalated.
We need you to have the confidence to adhere to processes and procedures even when challenged by users so an ability to communicate effectively is vital.
We want to ensure that you're never stationery in the role but constantly learning and developing, creating a roadmap for your IT career.
We have positions spanning a broad range of skills and experience, from technical development and cyber security operations through to analysts, policy writers, and leadership and support functions. If this role isn't quite right for you, check out the other roles we have advertised.
If we believe your skills, knowledge and experience align to other positions you have not applied for, we may contact you to discuss these opportunities.
Whether you want to geek out with a bunch of passionate nerds, or work to share New Zealand's cyber security brand, landscape and reputation, we have roles to suit your interest and passion!
We want our people to succeed, whatever success looks like for them. Join us and we'll give you significant professional development opportunities aimed at taking your career in the direction you want it to go. You won't stand still with us as we're committed to ongoing learning and continuous improvement. We're also committed to your well-being. We want our people to be the best they can be, both at work and at home. We offer our people comprehensive benefits, access to staff networking groups, flexible working and great work-life balance.
