Working alongside people from all walks of life, from farmers through to technicians, this is your opportunity to lead our Timaru Dealership Service team. Our Service Managers plays a key role in driving customer loyalty by providing exceptional service keeping tractors and farm machinery in optimal operational condition for our customers.
We are looking for someone to maximise safety, quality, efficiency and service by continually improving systems and processes, as well as managing the flow of work through the workshop and the field. We need an enthusiastic leader who can develop and coach staff so the Dealership can deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
You will be responsible for ensuring all servicing, diagnosis, and repairs to tractors and farm machinery are completed to a high standard, in a cost effective manner, and are safe to use; and growing customer loyalty based on the technical capability and performance of you and your team.
We see these factors as key to succeeding in the role:
- Minimum of five years in agricultural machinery, earthmoving, heavy commercial or
- closely related industry preferred
- Qualified Automotive or Diesel Technician advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of people
- Good working knowledge of agriculture, earthmoving and ground care practices
- Sound understanding of client/Dealer expectations in relation to technical support
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge
