Bupa is one of New Zealand’s leading healthcare providers with a strong commitment to helping people across the globe live longer, happier, healthier lives. We believe in thinking big to achieve big things, that will transform our business and the impact that we have in the world.
At Bupa NZ we’ve got plans for the future, and in June we’re opening a brand new facility in Palmerston North; providing hospital, rest home and dementia level care across 56 beds.
We're currently seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to join the new team – once on board, the Clinical Manager will have the opportunity to play a key role in the recruitment of their new team, with support from the General Manager and Recruitment Team.
The Clinical Manager will contribute to the overall management of the facility, leading and motivating a dedicated team of clinical and care staff, whilst ensuring exceptional, consistent care for our much-loved residents.
To be in the running for this role, you'll need to demonstrate:
- Strong leadership skills & previous experience in a Nursing Manager role, preferably within aged care.
- At least five years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, as well as a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate with the NZ Nursing Council.
- Strong prioritisation and organisational skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence with systems & tech, including strong knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development – for yourself and your team members.
You'll have a collaborative and engaging style, commercial nous and excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to work alongside your colleagues, external stakeholders, residents, and their families. If you're a customer centric, resilient individual then this is an exciting time to come on board; we're expecting energy, empathy and strong leadership from the Clinical Manager.
So, why work for Bupa?
In this role, you’ll have access to our Clinical Managers Leadership programmes, and you’ll be supported to continue your professional development through Clinical Manager forums and Global Nurse Fellowship opportunities. Bupa offers industry-competitive remuneration and benefits, including on-call and over time payments.
At our heart, we're a people company. Bupa is proud to be an inclusive workplace; we value diversity of thought, and we reward our employees with flexibility, ongoing development opportunities, an employee led health and wellbeing programme, and reward and recognition programmes. But ultimately, we’re here because of our collaborative, fun culture - and of course our purpose – ‘helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives.’
At Bupa, we come to work each day, knowing we’re making a meaningful, positive impact on vulnerable people’s lives.
