We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior Recruiter to join Korn Ferry RPO onsite at New Zealand’s most well-known global brands, Fonterra!The Role
You will be joining Korn Ferry, a global leader in talent acquisition and recruitment process outsourcing, and you'll be working onsite for one of New Zealand’s most well-known global brands, Fonterra, based in either Christchurch, Hamilton or Auckland.
Using a consultative approach, you will oversee the delivery of recruitment projects for Fonterra’s seasonal intakes. And its busy! You’ll manage assessment centres to bring in 600 – 700 new starters a year (plus a large number of returnees), mostly within a short 4 – 5-month period. These roles include process workers, tanker drivers, laboratory staff and forklift operators.
You’ll provide expert recruitment advice to hiring managers and drive positive business outcomes. Your influencing skills will enhance your client relationships as you build and support workforce planning initiatives. Working in partnership with a centralised talent sourcing function in Auckland, this true client management role will see you provide exceptional recruitment advice to deliver essential seasonal talent to Fonterra. The role will involve travel to various Fonterra sites.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Recruitment forecasting with each site and planning the recruitment calendar to deliver to deadlines
- Management of the talent delivery team to ensure they are equipped to deliver within the recruitment calendar timeframes
- Oversee the activation of the sourcing activity
- Provide / oversee hiring manager training to ensure compliance with the process
Manage assessment centre facilitators to ensure on-time deliverySkills & Experience
With a demonstrated background in recruitment or project management, you will create an immediate impact with your hiring managers, take accountability and understand that stakeholder engagement is the key to a successful recruitment solution. Because this role will be handling a portfolio of volume roles consisting across the manufacturing sector, you’ll need to be process driven, organised and resilient.
